SaaSSolar was created by people who’ve worked in the solar industry and lived through the frustration of managing leads, installations, and teams on tools that were never designed for solar. We built the platform we always needed — and made it available to every solar company that’s struggling with the same problems.
To give every solar company — from a 3-person crew to a 300-person team — the operational software they need to grow faster, serve customers better, and run a more profitable business.
We build exclusively for the solar industry. That means every feature, every workflow, and every product decision is made with solar companies in mind — not adapted from another sector.
Simple pricing. Honest features. Real onboarding support. We don’t oversell and underdeliver. We build what solar companies actually need and we stand behind it.
In 2021, our founding team was working directly with solar installation companies in the United States — helping them scale their sales teams and streamline their operations. The same conversation came up again and again: “We can’t find a CRM that actually fits how a solar company works.”
Companies were stitching together Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Sheets, WhatsApp, and Dropbox just to manage a single installation from lead to completion. Data fell through the cracks. Leads went cold. Permits got lost. Customers called for updates that could have been automatic. Field crews showed up to jobs that weren’t ready.
We looked at every CRM and project management tool on the market. None of them were designed for solar. The best ones required months of configuration just to approximate what a solar company needs. The solar-specific ones were either too expensive, too rigid, or had fallen behind.
So we built SaaSSolar — from the ground up, with solar companies as the only customer we were designing for. Every feature exists because a real solar company asked for it. Every workflow mirrors how solar teams actually work in the field, in the office, and with their customers.
Today, SaaSSolar is used by solar companies across the United States and Canada — from small residential crews closing their first 50 jobs a year to multi-region operations managing hundreds of active installations at once.
These aren’t wall posters. They’re the principles that shape every product decision, every customer interaction, and every hire we make.
Every feature we build, every problem we solve, is evaluated through a single lens: does this make solar companies better at their work? We will never compromise that focus to chase a larger market.
Every major feature in SaaSSolar came from a conversation with a real solar company. We don’t build in isolation — we listen, validate, build, and iterate with the teams who use the product every day.
Solar companies don’t need a 300-page configuration manual. They need software that works on day one and gets out of the way. If a feature requires a consultant to set it up, we haven’t done our job.
We don’t claim to have features we don’t have. We don’t say AI is live if it’s on the roadmap. We don’t promise integrations we haven’t built. Solar companies deserve a software partner they can trust.
The solar industry is growing fast and our customers need us to keep pace. We ship new features regularly — but we don’t ship things that aren’t ready or that create risk for the businesses that depend on us.
We’re proud to build software for an industry that’s accelerating the transition to clean energy. When solar companies grow and succeed, more renewable energy gets installed. That matters to us deeply.
Our team includes people who have worked in solar sales, solar installation operations, and solar software — not just software engineers who learned the industry from a slide deck.
