This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the SaaSSolar website and platform. This document is provided as a general template and should be reviewed by your legal counsel before publication.

1. Who We Are

SaaSSolar (“SaaSSolar”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a customer relationship management platform built for solar companies. SaaSSolar is owned and operated by Saasnic Technologies, the company responsible for the development, hosting, and support of the platform. Saasnic Technologies is also a Salesforce partner, and certain integrations or services may involve the Salesforce platform where you choose to enable them.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically as you use our website and platform:

  • Account & contact information — name, email address, phone number, company name, and role.
  • Business data you enter — leads, customers, deals, installation records, documents, and related solar project information.
  • Billing information — processed securely through our third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage & device data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and interactions, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications — messages, demo requests, and support enquiries you send us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the SaaSSolar platform and your account;
  • Process transactions and send related information such as confirmations and invoices;
  • Respond to demo requests, enquiries, and support tickets;
  • Improve, personalise, and develop new features and services;
  • Send service updates and, where permitted, marketing communications you can opt out of at any time;
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure site performance, and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate our service:

  • Service providers — hosting, analytics, email delivery, and payment processing partners who act on our behalf under confidentiality obligations;
  • Salesforce — where you choose to connect or use Salesforce-based integrations offered through our partnership with Salesforce, data you authorise may be exchanged with the Salesforce platform subject to Salesforce’s own terms and privacy policy;
  • Legal & safety — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, property, and safety;
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption in transit and at rest — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your data and review our practices.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data as described below.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of the EU/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) have specific rights, including the right to know what data we hold and to opt out of certain uses.
