USA & Canada Homeowner Data — Know Which Door to Knock Before You Leave the Truck
We’re building a comprehensive homeowner database covering residential addresses across the United States and Canada. When it’s live, your D2D reps will be able to filter neighborhoods by homeownership status, roof type, property size, and existing solar — so every knock is a qualified prospect, not a guess. Early access available for select accounts.

What D2D Solar Teams Deal With Every Day

Door-to-door solar is high-effort. Bad tools make it worse — leads slip, reps overlap territories, and managers have no idea what’s happening in the field.

📝
Leads Written on Paper, Lost in the Car
Reps knock 40 doors and write notes on a clipboard. Half those leads never make it into the CRM. The follow-up never happens. The sale is gone.
🗺️
Two Reps Knocking the Same Street
Without territory management, reps step on each other. Homeowners get annoyed, reps argue, and your brand takes the hit. Disorganized territory is one of the biggest D2D killers.
👻
Managers Have No Visibility
Your reps are out there all day and you have no idea what they’re doing. Are they knocking? Are they sitting in their car? You find out at end of day — too late to course-correct.
🚪
Knocking the Wrong Doors
Reps waste time on renters, apartments, houses with solar already installed, or properties with no suitable roof. Without homeowner data, every knock is a coin flip.
📊
No Rep Performance Data
You can’t coach what you can’t measure. Without per-rep door counts, contact rates, and close rates, your best performers carry your worst ones without anyone knowing it.
🔄
Field Leads Disconnected from the CRM
Leads generated in the field exist in a separate world from your CRM pipeline. Office staff re-enter data manually, introducing errors and creating a two-day lag before anyone follows up.

Log Every Lead at the Door — Before You Walk Away

Your rep knocks, has a conversation, and opens SaaSSolar on their phone. In under 30 seconds, the homeowner is logged, tagged with an outcome, and live in your CRM pipeline. No paper, no delay, no lost leads.

Address auto-fills from GPS — the rep just confirms the address, they don’t type it
Outcome tagging in one tap — Not Home, Not Interested, Callback, Hot Lead, Appointment Set
Contact info captured on the spot — name, number, and email straight into the CRM
Voice notes optional — rep records a quick note while walking to the next house
Instant pipeline entry — lead appears in your sales pipeline the moment it’s saved, assigned to that rep

USA & Canada Homeowner Data — Know the Neighborhood Before You Arrive

We’re pulling comprehensive homeowner data for residential addresses across the United States and Canada. When this goes live, your D2D reps will open their map and immediately see which homes are owner-occupied, which have solar already, and which are the highest-priority prospects — so every knock counts.

Homeowner vs renter flag — skip renters automatically, focus on homeowners who can make the decision
Existing solar detected — homes with panels already installed are filtered out or flagged separately
Property type filter — single-family homes prioritized, multi-unit buildings excluded
Coverage across all 50 US states and Canadian provinces — from Phoenix to Toronto
Pre-load a neighborhood before you drive there — reps plan their route around the best prospects

Every Rep Gets Their Zone — No Overlap, No Arguments

Draw territories on a map, assign them to reps, and SaaSSolar enforces the boundaries. When Rep A is assigned to the northwest quadrant, Rep B can’t log visits or leads from that zone. Clean, fair, and automatic.

Draw territories by ZIP code, neighborhood, or custom boundary — flexible to how your team operates
Assign territories to individual reps or teams — one rep, one zone, no stepping on toes
Territory coverage tracking — see what percentage of a zone has been knocked vs untouched
Reassign territories instantly — if a rep leaves or a zone needs reinforcement, update in seconds
Historical visit data stays with the territory — new rep assigned to a zone sees what was already knocked

3
Leads enter the pipeline live
Every hot lead or appointment flows directly into the CRM pipeline — visible to the sales team immediately.
4
Manager reviews the day
End-of-day dashboard shows every rep’s doors, contacts, leads, and territory coverage in one summary.

About Door-to-Door in SaaSSolar

Does the rep need cell service to log a visit?
SaaSSolar’s mobile app supports offline logging — reps can capture leads even without signal, and the data syncs automatically when they reconnect. This is important for neighborhoods with patchy coverage.
When is the USA and Canada homeowner data going to be available?
We’re actively building this. We’re pulling and structuring residential address data across the United States and Canada. If you’re interested in early access, you can join the waitlist and we’ll notify you as soon as it’s available for your region.
Can managers see reps’ location without them knowing?
No. Reps are aware that location tracking is active when they’re on the clock — it’s visible in the app. Location sharing is tied to active work sessions, not permanent background tracking.
Can a lead captured at the door be assigned to a different sales rep for follow-up?
Yes. A D2D rep captures the lead in the field; it enters the pipeline and can be reassigned to an inside sales rep or closer for follow-up. The D2D rep gets commission credit for the origination regardless of who closes it.
How many reps can use the D2D module simultaneously?
There’s no hard cap. Whether you have 5 reps in one city or 50 reps across multiple markets, the system scales to your team. Territory assignments keep everyone organized regardless of team size.
Does the D2D module work in Canada?
Yes. The D2D module — lead capture, territory management, rep tracking, and the manager dashboard — works for Canadian teams today. The homeowner data feature, currently in development, will cover Canadian provinces including Ontario, BC, Alberta, and Quebec.
